Oceanside, Blush, Brownies, Chores..

This is what's keeping me busy lately..

Our family went on a fishing trip in Oceanside.. and caught just one tiny little fish with a yellow fin.

                                                        With my nephew.. :)
I'm just helping my sister in law buy some school supplies for my other nephew and I saw this..

Bought it for $10.. haven't tried it yet..

                                                      I  made a Ghirardelli brownie..

and look who's helping me with the cleaning..
Everything must be clean and organize!! :)

Triple Barrel Hair Waver..

Here's how to use a triple barrel hair waver.. :)

Things you'll need:
~ 3-barrel hair waver (it actually comes in different sizes)
~ Heat protectant
~Hair clamps
~ Brush/ Comb

1.) Plug the waver and set the temp. according to hair type. Comb hair to remove tangles.
2.) Divide hair into two sections, from top ear going to the other ear.

3.) Start at the bottom. Spray heat protectant..
Gather small portion of your hair. Clamp
waver on the  hair leaving an inch away from the roots.
Hold waver for 5 to 10 seconds depending on what
type of hair you have and the temperature you've set.

4.) Move barrel downwards upto the last wave you've created and do this until you've reach the end part. and do the same with rest of your hair.. Don't forget to spray heat protectant for each section.

3.) Spray curl activator as soon as you're done.
                                                     Back..

How to apply Crackle Nail Polish..

Dang!! I was so excited to do this blog and I totally forgot to take a picture
of every step I did.. I'm so sorry..

*Before applying any nail polish make sure your nails are free from old nail polish.. Use nail polish remover if necessary..

1.) BASE. I recommend to use dark regular nail polish so that the crackle polish will stand out. It's actually up to you how'd you mix and match your colors ( I missed taking a photo on this part)
2.) CRACKLE COAT. Make sure the base is completely dry before applying the crackle. You'll be surprise how fast it cracks.. I was amaaaaazed.. :) If you want a small cracks just paint lightly.. if you want a solid bigger crackle paint it heavier..

CRACK: Baby blue, BASE: No color specified.
         -This one is my favorite-

cheap naiL poLish..

Got these a week ago in China town, downtown LA.. very cheap.. $1 each.. :)
Colors: Hot purple, Black, Baby blue and chocolate..
The chocolate doesn't crack that much I don't why..
but the rest are easy to apply and very stylish..

Hair Care

The first one is a TRESemme heat tamer spray that minimizes heat damage.
I use it before using the hair dryer or flat iron. My hair could have been so damaged by now without it since I usually blow-dry my hair.
The second one is a TRESemme Curl Activator Spray that protects and holds the curls at
the same time. I usually spray it on a dry hair before
using curling iron or my waver, then blow-dry the spray and start curling.
You can also squirt lightly after styling to hold the curls.
Since I don't want my hair to get really dry and fuzzy..
I shampoo my hair every other day and use the TRESemme dry shampoo
in between those days..It is waterless and has a citrus scent that removes unnecessary odor.

My Revlon flat iron which I bought from Target..
can't remember how much did I pay for it though.
What I liked about my flat iron is that I can also curl my hair with it..
it's like 2 in 1 product..
It doesn't make your hair kinky and looking dry since its ceramic.

This is my latest hair gadget that I'm loving so far.. It's a Revlon 3 barrel waver from Target as well. It creates a beachy waves that is perfect since its summer. It has different heat levels for different hair types.. The wave doesn't show in the picture that much so let me post another picture next time.. but this is a Must have..
along with the blow dry and flat iron :)

-My first decent blog.., I guess- :)
